Oh Canada!
It’s amazing to see what couple of 17 yr-olds can do with $400 and a few months of working on a non-school related project just because it was cool. Mathew Ho and Asad Muhamad should inspire anyone to just go for it and bring those ideas and dreams to life.
When I think about projectors I think of the theater. Thanks to Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD people like me can get the same BIG screen experience at home. Think of MegaPlex as a portable projector for all your multimedia devices (idevices, PC, Xbox, smartphones, DVD, memory sticks) and pretty much anything else that connects through a USB, HDMI and gazillion other cable options offered by MegaPlex…. The possibilities are endless!
As a smartphone user I find this chart interesting. It made me think about all the times/places I use my BlackBerry and how many times it helped me out or entertained me.

Over a month ago I wrote about my Palomar Crumpled City Map of London and made a video about it. These past few weeks my life has been filled with car problems and frequent visits and phone calls to my local VW service center. Finally I had to drop off my baby Jetta at the mothership for some R&R, needing some love from professionals.
While my car was at the shop, my VW connection hooked me up with a sweet sweet 2012 Golf. I only had driven a Golf once before at the VW Freedriving day and I was super excited to drive a brand spanking new one for a few days.
After I got over the initial issues with the car (combination of a Sportline 2.5 litter engine and its torque and my car sickness problems! Haha) I loved driving it so much that I felt like I was cheating on my car with a younger and faster car. Continue Reading
I know it’s been a while since I have posted anything in here. It’s been a crazy busy month and I’m just catching up to my schedule. To catch you all up here’s a quick run down of whats been happening!
- I’m going back to SCHOOL! Yes, after all these years it’s time to go back and be a student again. I’m both scared and excited for going back to the “student life”. Competing with younger kids and being so out of the loop…oooyyy!!!! I hope UofT is ready for me….
- I’m planning to join my relatives on a 10 day long road trip across a few European countries. I’m UBER excited for this trip even though I haven’t bought my ticket, booked any hotels or have made any other sorts of arrangements. The idea of being able to take a vacation with a few of my cousins is just very appealing to me. Here’s our very unofficial route through Europe. Do any of you have any suggestions for “must see” places that fall on or close to our route??
Paris>Luxembourg>Brussels>Bonn>Berlin>Hamburg>Amsterdam
- Planning to attend a family wedding in Calgary right before the Calgary Stampede, which is pretty darn exciting! I have heard and seen a lot about the Stampede but have never attended one. Maybe this time I can arrange my travel plans so I can check it out.
Other than these few major travels I’m planning to follow whatever path and opportunity that knocks on my door and see where they take me!
